I haven't updated in weeks. I was actually going to start a new LJ, because experimentiv started to annoy me with the connotations associated to it. Most people read it as experimentiv (kinky and stuff) whereas originally it was supposed to read Experiment IV, after a great Kate Bush song. But I am awful at thinking up usernames (see; experimentiv) and the best I could do was pondliving, hence why I'm sticking with this one.

I have a job interview on Friday. My first ever proper interview! It's to be a library assistant and if I get it, I will literally be the happiest person in the world. I'm fairly confident, just because the criteria for applying was 5 GCSE's with Maths and English above C grade. I told them that I did have those over the phone and when I asked if they'd like to hear my other qualifications they said no. Oh well. I just need to show that my experience as a receptionist and bar person is good customer service experience. I think it is, it shows I've dealt with a range of different people. MP's and CEO of companies as a receptionist (albeit, getting them coffee and showing them to meeting rooms) to drunken freshers screaming for vodka. I'm adaptable.

I went to a house party on Saturday. Fuck me I felt out. It was my friend's sister's party and I think she's 19 now or something. But a lot of her friends were either 16 or 17. Every time I met someone it kinda punched into me that I'm 21, unemployed and living at home. Hardly worth the extortionate debt I'm in. Speaking of debt I finally plucked up the courage to look at how much I owe and fuck me, I have never closed a window so quickly in my life.

Also, check out this awesome video from the people at The Guild and the amazing Felicia Day. I have such a crush on her. Is there a word for a gay guy having a crush on a woman aside from 'confused'?

<lj-embed id="2" />

My last entry while at uni. I leave tomorrow morning at 8.30am. Currently sitting in my room surrounded by suitcases, boxes and loads of those Sainsbury's bags for life (I never really did grasp the concept seeing as I have 15 of them). Three years. Three whole years. Jesus. Sounds cliche but it does seem like it has gone really quick. Was it worth it? Most definitely! It has been a blast, a blast with ups and downs but a blast none the less. And I got a degree out of it, a 2:1 degree. I'm now a bachelor of arts or some shit like that but more importanly I got over 1200 photos tagged of myself on facebook from uni. I have no idea what I'm going to do next, but I really want to move out of my mum's place. It's been alright the last three years going down between terms and stuff but I don't think I can deal with living at home again. Especially after this year, I've become used to living by myself. I have flatmates but I only saw them in the kitchen or on nights out. But I'm rambling.

My ode to Lancaster with the words of Beverley Craven

"Lancaster, promise me you'll wait for me 'cause I'll be saving all my love for you. And I'll be home soon."

It's over.

<lj:music>Patience - Take That</lj:music>

It's exam time! Well I say exam time. I have two exams...and one is a multiple choice exam. Pretty easy right? Except the multiple choice exam covers THE ENTIRE COURSE as opposed to normal exams where you can just study four books in depth. I should be worried. But I really cannot muster the energy. I'm more worried about sleeping through my alarm and not being able to eat breakfast. I don't want my tummy rumbling during the exam. Also, the multiple choice exam is 90 minutes...on about 55 multiple choice questions. Surely it won't take that long? Will it? And it's on a Saturday which makes me sad. Looking forward for it to be over and I can start to concentrate on a proper exam which I'm actually looking forward to. It's for my Women Writer's course which I love and from my tutor has said it isn't going to be that hard. Then I'm finished with university!

Now onto important topics. Graduation Ball (Grad Ball). I'm so torn. I want to go but I don't really want to pay £57 for a ticket (+ suit + drinks during the night). And out main 'act' for Grad Ball is Alesha Dixon who no one liked until she won Strictly...we've got her and Bjorn Again (an Abba tribute band), The Puppini Sisters (who after a youtubing, I find that they can butcher Kate Bush) and Frankmusic. Now Frankmusic I would like to see because I've heard a lot of positive things about him. So that's Grad Ball. I mean last year they got the Sugababes! We get a girl band reject. And calm. I think I might end up going for the experience and the fact that mummy said she'd pay for my ticket but inside I'll be protesting this atrocity

Until then it's just exams. The first thing I'm doing after my last exam is going and buying some trashy books. Any recommendations? I'm going to continue my tradition of reading a Jodi Picoult book for the lulz but I'm open to suggestions. Having a month off of just lazying on the field reading trash will be bliss.

Another four week hiatus. Go me.

Back at Uni after Easter hols. Am concentrating on getting my creative writing portfolios finished. Am currently doing 2000 words a day and am half-way through my main portfolio with the other ones done.

Am starting to wonder if I should either bother with it. It looks like we're all gonna get killed from Piggy Flu anyway. I know the news are kinda scaremongering people but I'm quite worried. I don't want to die because of Babe! But I don't want to live through it and have to fend for myself in some weird tribe like situation. I'm not good with the whole defending my territory and I really don't like baked beans. I hope I'm so far north that it won't effect here.

In other news. Bea Arthur died. This is so upsetting she was an absolute legend!
Just watched Merlin 1x03 'The Mark of Nimueh' and did a rambling commentary along side it. This is a product of being bored on campus when everyone has left. After the cut of course.

'In every generation there is a chosen one, she alone...' Oops wrong show.

Scary caves! Michelle Ryan is doing some clay modeling. She is special.

She can speak weird language and make things glow.

Something is hatching! I hope it's Denver the last dinosaur!

Michelle Ryan has a weird chin...maybe it's just a very bad shot.

Awkward Gwen and Merlin! STOP IT, HE IS ARTHURS! Bitch.

Now Gwen is being a bit lesbos with Morgana...slut.

More dead peoplez. Attack of the blue methinks.

SORCERY! It is making Uther angry. Grrrr.

This is magic of the DARKEST kind...says Gaius.

Arthur is searching Merlin's room

Arthur has found something in Merlin's room! Nekkid pictures of the Prince?

Merlin can't use magic and it makes him =(

Ew evil looking teethy thing came out of the water! I think he might have something to do with the attack of the blue.

It's in the water!

Papa Gwen is ill now! And now Gwen is trying to <strike>act </strike>get help

Merlin saves Papa Gwen! By doing naughty magic.

Merlin/Gwen will never happen! Writers you need to stop it NOW.

Arthur is suspicious of Papa Gwen! And they find weird glowy magic thing under his pillow. GWEN IS A WITCH! KILL HER.

Morgana is trying to save her lover...but Arthur wants Gwen in shackles.

Aw Morgana is pretty. I like her.

Gwen is being sentenced to death. Good riddance, she really is awful isn't she?

Morgana is standing up to Uther! So is Arthur! But Uther really hates magic, like really really! And so Gwen will die by...FIRE!

Merlin conscience moment...yawn. I like his face =)

More Merlin/Gwen...Gwen wants to be remembered. For what? Being a bit shit. God I need to stop the Gwen hate. She isn't too bad I guess. Just a bit...

OMG MERLIN ADMITS MAGIC!

Arthur tries to protect Merlin...aw. Merlin is in love with Gwen says Arthur.

Aw halfhugtimez for Merlin and Arthur.

There isn't a big enough pointy hat for Merlin...*giggles*

HIIIIII says scary beast thing.

Time to see the slashdragon, he tells Merlin that he belongs with Arthur. Dragon proper gunning for the sexytimes.

Something boring about elements and stuff. Aw Morgana really is pretty.

Cave exploring for scary beast thing. They need some fire and wind. They should blow on it!

He's behind you! He attacks Arthur. Morgana screams. It disappears. It comes back. Arthur fights it a wee bit. It roars. Morgana attempts to help. Merlin uses magic. Scary beast thing becomes roast dinner.

Michelle Ryan is ANGERED!

Uther reacts to the name Nimueh angrily. A lover from another mother perhaps?

Morgana instigating Merlin/Gwen. Bad Morgana!

Merlin is an idiot and everyone chuckles...except Michelle Ryan who is still very ANGRY

I met Will Young once. Well when I say I met him, I more like screamed at him. Well not screamed. I'll explain. I was at a gay club in London with a friend having a smoke (ah the days before the smoking ban!). It was in the chill out part of the club and we were just sat down...chilling. Enter Will Young and an entourage. I was quite drunk, as I usually was when I was 17 and able to get into a club. So regrettably in my drunken state, I went up to Will Young and semi-yelled at him 'I VOTED FOR YOU ON POP IDOL, YOU'RE AMAZING!!111! I LOVE YOU!11!'. Or something along those lines. He smiled politely, looked a bit scared and I was dismissed. To be honest I never watched Pop Idol and was more of a Gareth Gates fan anyway. So yes that is the story of my meeting with Will Young. I came out of it with a hangover and an ashamed feeling.

1) I got my Lit and Film project completed. Did an Alice in Wonderland fanfiction piece. I struggled on the essay part which had to explain my ideas and themes. Ended up rambling a bit, but I'm just glad it's over.

2) Went out with the gang on Thursday. It was a really awesome night, just drinking and dancing the night away. It seemed to pass so quickly but it was awesome. And we posed with enough room for Rob to photoshop some photos. Here is one he did of me, him, Angela Lansbury and Bea Arthur.

3) Finally got around to seeing High School Musical 3. I was not impressed. The first half was an utter shambles! It picked up a little bit during the second half, but I think I preferred it when they had little budget. And what was with the English chick and the retard they threw in for the sequel. LIke, ew. Saying that, I have had the soundtrack on a couple of times since. My favourite song is 'Walk Away' because then you can reenact Baby V's attempts to convey emotion.

4) Spotify.com = awesome beyond words. Download it and rejoice.

1) I've been ill since Friday. Fun times. I haven't done any work, or been to any seminars (which was only one), instead I've been reading Eclipse and just generally trying to get better.

2) I think Thursday might be the reason why I'm ill. I started drinking at 2.30pm and stopped around about 2.30am. It started as an innocent drink before a seminar, followed by post-seminar drinks, followed by popping down to the LGBT social to see what was going on, followed by actively joining the LGBT social until they had all gone home and we hit another club. The LGBT social was just ridiculous, every stereotype you could imagine. And then there were the two people with KISS makeup on...I stayed away from them.

3) Uni has been going well. I haven't been doing much re: my social life, but to be honest that doesn't bother me. Usually there is some form of drama so I've cut back. Instead I've just been observing people, it is quite an interesting hobby, just sitting back and watching how people act, what they say etc. Insightful too.

4) Music-wise, currently on repeat are Jason Mraz's 'We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things' and Lily Allen's 'It's Not Me, It's You'. Both albums are pretty good. Highlights include 'Make It Mine, 'Lucky' and 'A Beautiful Mess' on Mraz's side and 'Fuck You', 'Everyone's At It' and 'Who'd Have Known' on Allen's side.

5) I think I've decided on my Lit and Film Creative Project. I'm going to write some fanfic (Ew!) and look at the roles of the author and the validity of fanfic as an adaptation. Should be fun. Just need to find a film to write fanfic about. I'm going to look for one that was adapted from a book but is so changed it could be seen as an individual piece. I'm very very tempted to just fuck it and write Harry Potter slash just to freak out my tutor but I actually want to pass this year so...

6) I can't believe it's Valentine's Day on Saturday. I didn't even realise! Single, yet again. Oh well. I don't care, you don't have to stress out about gifts and what not. I've already got some Ben + Jerry's in the freezer should I decide not to go out and stay in with rom-coms.

1) So I haven't updated in about 14 weeks. I'm a bad LJ-er. But I plan to rectify this.

2) I quit my job. I couldn't deal with working till 5am. It was all very informal, I sent an e-mail and was stopped being put on the rota. End of. I probably won't miss it, I'll miss the people but aside from that it was a shit job which I hated.

3) In light of previous point, this term at uni is going really well in comparison to last term. I've only missed one seminar so far and my tutor was totally cool about it. And I'm actually enjoying it all. Last term, I was a mess. Barely going to anything and just dossing around. Now, it is pretty awesome. I do have a 'creative project' due for my lit and film module and I have no idea what I'm going to do. I might just write a novelisation of a film, put my writing skills to good use.

4) Lancaster is pretty okayish. Kind of boring to be honest. No one seems to be going out as much and if I'm honest, most of the time I cannot be bothered to go out. On the plus side, I'm saving a lot of money. By this point in term I'm usually down to about £700-800, but I checked today and I've got about nine hundred quid. Which is awesome, as I have some birthdays coming up soon.

5) I have a twitter! At first I was like 'twitter? it's just a facebook status update thing.' BUT the amazing, awesomest Stephen Fry has twitter so that persuaded me to check it out and so I've joined. If there are any twitter-ers out there, add me as a friend please as I have no friends at the moment. I'm at https://twitter.com/charlessime

6) That is pretty much it at the moment, I promise to update a bit more frequently from now on.

7) Also Paris Hilton's British Best Friend is the most amazing, trivial piece of awesome/crap I have ever watched.

    <lj:music>The murmurings of meetings</lj:music>

As per every summer for the last three years, I'm doing a week at my mum's work. It's an easy job as Receptionist with very good money which should tide me over until I can find a more permanent fixture for the summer. It is going quite well actually compared to previous years where I'm just been waiting for myself to cock up but second day in and I've been doing dandy. In all honesty I don't really have anything to do except sit here and occasionally answer the phone. I should be doing my reading for next year but the environment is so draining.

Aside from earning enough money to level out my overdraft, I haven't actually been doing that much. I've been out a couple of times which as been eventful. In one of the outings I was witness to a Polish man attempting to put his hand up a woman's skirt. Before I even really took notice, the woman had chased him off the bus.

Went out on Saturday which was just so diabolical. Basically, I drank too many bottles of Magners which not only fueled my drunkeness but also lingered long enough to leave me almost bedridden the next day. Somehow I managed to scuffle to the living room where I collapsed for the rest of the day and had to endure such wonderful programmes as Holiday Showdown and Holiday Airport. It wasn't even a Sunday so there was no Come Dine With Me to placate me.

On another note, I finally was able to try out the World Of Warcaft trial and am surprised to find it so addictive. I mean you don't actually do anything except fight and run from one end of the place to the other but it is oddly satisfying so much so I may invest in a paid account. For a while all I seemed to be doing was wondering around as a ghost trying to find my body but then I realised I was like level 8 and everything else was level 18 so the odds were stacked against me. That'll teach me for being adventurous.

    <lj:music>Better - Regina Spektor</lj:music>

Right so I've returned from uni, full of hope for the summer. Instead, I come home to find that someone was stabbed a couple of weeks ago about a minute from where I live. Really you can't shake a stick without hitting a knife nowadays. Everytime I go to the corner shops I have police eyeing me up, like I'm going to start brandishing a knife from my Greggs bag. It is a sorry society we're living in at the moment and I (of course) blame the chavs. We need to neuter them so they stop breeding like rabbits, and(!) most of them don't know who their parents are, just watch Jeremy Kyle. Everyone is complaining about teaching 4 years olds sex education but I'm all for it. I mean if you're shown a vagina when you're young, it'll probably either turn you gay or scar you for life so much you'll never want to have sex again. We could live in a society full of monks and nuns. I'm all for it, it'll be like Sister Act.

Now onto the serious stuff. Doctor Who. Oh my dear god, it was pure fanwank and I loved every minute of it. Yeah the story had more plotholes than a piece of Emmental cheese but it was a nice way of wrapping up the past four years. I loved it when everyone was in the TARDIS and it was all happy. Then BAM! Rose gets chucked by to Pete's World with Doctor 10.5 and Donna has to have her memory wiped. That was heartbreaking (the Donna bit). I didn't see the point of Rose being there except to tell everyone the darkness was coming in various accents, but being RTD in drag she got her happy ending. Now it's the endless wait for the Christmas special with the Cybermen. If they actually do something with them (and from what I've heard they are) then it'll be really good because so far the new cybermen have be metal versions of Paul O'Grady having bitch offs with everyone.

Anything happening in my life? Well just catching up with people at the moment. Went to see Lucyanna with Jamie and we realised that out of everyone from the old gang we were the ones who had done something with their lifes. I've gone to university, Jamie works at Peter Jones and Lucyanna is raising a family in Ireland with a job. Everyone else is popping out sprogs like nobodies business and doing nothing with their lives. Apart from that I've just been working on my CV and am handing it in to a couple of places tomorrow before meeting Cathryn for lunch.

No entry for six weeks now. Mostly because nothing really has been going on. Bit sad if I'm honest. Work has been practically nil due to the lack of people going to the Sugarhouse but it should be picking up this Saturday and next week. I've had to extend my overdraft from £200 to £350 to get me through the next couple of weeks. I felt like a right student going into the bank and demanding it. Had the last Chez Gay party on the 14th, which was interesting but full of drama. I felt like I was 17 again, back in London. First there were the chavs who decided to attempt to start some drama, which fizzled out when they saw the big men we had in the garden, although I was with Luke and his idea of everyone grabbing a knife and running after them. Then there was some people taking drugs in the house, despite me having to ask weeks before for that not to happen. Needless to say, more drama ensued which made me look like a prude. Then there was Jenni and her unnecessary need to override people and belittle them for no apparent reason. Well, that bitch is getting a talking to next time I see her because there is really no need for it. On top of that I was looking after Dominique and running away from Mark (a.k.a The Forehead) who had taken a liking to me. At one point me and Chantelle ran into Rosie's room to escape and when Rosie closed the door all we could see was this shining forehead peering in the crack. I was scared for my life. So yeah it was an interesting party. I'm still not to sure if this tops the party in which Nebbie had an asthma attack, Eve invited someone who attempted to murder their father and someone 'stole Esther's jewels'. It was interesting none the less.

Apart from that, what have I been doing? Spending reckless amounts of money on alcohol, nights out and The Golden Girls boxsets if I'm honest. Oh and getting so drunk I start crying/turn into an evil someone. It has been fun. No really, it has because I don't remember it. I just get texts the next day asking if I'm feeling better now.

    <lj:music>Finally - Ce Ce Peniston</lj:music>

Aw man I miss back in the day like. Found this old story Terri wrote about one of our adventures in Battersea Park after dark

On monday the 7th of August...five hikers went into Battersea Park in search of the Blair Witch...this is their story...
'Jamie, I'm scared.' Terri whimpered. 'It's okay Terri, no one's here.' said Jamie as he grabbed her tits. 'Eve man, I love these things so much, how can you not like them?' Charlie and Darryl scuttled in front of Eve, kicking leaves and dirt on their way.

'OH SHIT MAN!' screamed Charlie 'CHAVS! RUN GUYS!' Eve, Darryl and Charlie ran out into the darkness leaving Terri and Jamie all alone...

'WHERE'S CHAVS?' gasped Terri. 'No where babe, I promise.' Terri kissed Jamie. 'Come on, let's fuck.'
'Without protection?? I can't be gettin ma lil babe pregnant.'
'Oh, come on, jus..' Suddenly, there was a noise from the bushes.
'EVE?? IS THAT YOU?' shouted Terri. Charlie, Darryl and Eve appeared from the bushes, Charlie carrying a tree branch. 'DER WAS CHAVS MAN!' shrieked Charlie.

'Let's go into the meadow.' said Charlie.
'Yeah man.' agreed Darryl. So they all started walking towards the meadow in the pitch black until Terri spotted something.
'Is that the same cone?!' cried Terri.
'That's not the fuckin' same cone man!' shouted Darryl.
'WHAT DARELL?!?!' squealed Charlie.
'THAT'S THE SAME FUCKIN CONE!'
'IT'S NOT THE SAME FUCKIN CONE!'
'WHAT DARELL?!?!'
'Oh shit, what the fuck was that?!'
'What?!'
'Shhh...listen...' *no noise whatsoever*
'OMG WHAT IS THAT??!'
'FUCKIN RUN, RUN MAN!' screams Terri as everyone except Eve started running, Charlie's biff bobbing along.

Later on the same night...

'Let's go visit Buddha.' said Charlie. Everyone started walking in the direction of the temple.
'Whoa, how we gonna get up there?' asked Terri when they reach it.
'Gimme a boost.' Charlie said to Eve.
Terri, Darryl and Charlie were lifted up and onto the huge statue. All of a sudden, Jamie and Eve disappeared.
'I wanna get down man.' whined Terri.
'Eveeeee! Jamieeeee! help!!!!!!!' the three stranded victims shouted.
Jamie and Eve appeared. 'Get me down!' cried Charlie.
Eve lifted Charlie and Terri down. 'I DON'T NEED NO HELP!' shrieked Darryl. Half way down, he started screamin 'Help! MA BALLS! HELPPP!' 'PUT YOUR ARSE ON MA SHOULDA!' demanded Eve.

When everyone was down, a car slowly drove past. 'EVERYONE GET DOWN MAN, THE FEDS!' Darryl shouted as he ran into a bush. 'MMM DO I SMELL LAVENDER?' whispered Charlie dreamily. 'I NEED TO WEE!' Charlie said. 'ME TOO!' Terri joined in. Terri and Charlie ran over to the park and started takin a piss. 'COVER YOURSELF UP MAN!' shouted Darryl at Terri, using a jacket to cover her up. i can't b bothered 2 write anymore eve, u do it looool

    <lj:music>The Stowaway - Murray Gold</lj:music>

I am so glad this week is over. I'm not saying it hasn't been good, just exhausting. It culminated on Friday with me trying to get as drunk as I could to forget the nights that had preceeded it. I've haven't drunk so much in a week as I have this week, even in fresher's week. Needless to say it's been bumpy.

Monday was good, went to toast and had some fun. I turned into what has now been nicknamed the sexual tarantula, due to my not so subtle behaviour towards James. This stemmed from about a year of having a crush on him. It worked somewhat...well it worked Monday night. Then nothing. Shrugs.Me and Leigh had a proper girlie night the other night involving pizza, sex and the city and wine. It helped. But I'm just not letting it get to me and diving into my beast of a project which I am so going to fail. I need to do another 500 words tonight then I can have a drink. This is how we're making ourselves work in Chez Gay with the promise of alcohol at the end. Lewis has hidden my vodka, and I'm guarding Lewis and DJ's alcohol. Then later we shall drink and watch movies.

I wanted to write more but need to return to my project. Like now or I'll die.

FLARGH! = My thoughts when I think about university. There is so much to do and so very little time! Why do I leave things so late. Damn me. I've pretty much done one creative writing portfolio and the critiques for another one but it's my project where I'm going a bit tits up. I've done about 500 words on The Second Sex but need to use the university library for theory books. Which I'm not going to be able to do till Monday when I come back. I would be back on Sunday but I'd have to get a bus from Preston and Preston makes me uneasy.

Not much has been happening. Been going out and meeting peoples but that stopped this week due to my spazz attack about work. Crew people, I'm thinking when we get back we should have a day where we all bring in the work we're submitting and we all look over it for each other, make sure it's top notch. Plus if it's a nice day there can be picnics involved, with cheese and cucumber sandwiches!

Am not working the first week of term so I can library it massively so that'll be a nice break. Apart from that I'm spending my days like this. Wake up -> Go online -> Do a little work -> Make lunch and watch Murder, She Wrote -> Do more work. It isn't very exciting.

London is still amazing. Having fun going out and meeting random people. Saw some old school people yesterday which I loved because it was like haha I'm more fabulous than you. So that cheered me up to no end.

Okay, Torchwood officially broke my heart tonight. I didn't cry or anything but it was an amazing episode. Afterwards, I just kind of walked around in a daze. I knew they were going to kill off Tosh and Owen but I so wasn't ready for that. When Tosh whispers '...because you're breaking my heart'. Oh dear god. Not too sure if I'm going to watch series three though, from what I've been hearing Martha and Mickey are coming from Doctor Who to replace Owen and Tosh. Martha is made of win but I never really liked Mickey and I hate Gwen so...but who knows. I'm still holding out for some timey wimey wibbley wobbley reason to bring Tosh back. Either that or they could clone her from her blood sample.

Oh I found out something big today about a friend. Seriously some people are just naturally vindictive and mean. It was a shock but I'm over it but there is going to be ramification, I can tell you. But enough of that. Doctor Who tomorrow, gee! Gonna settle down with a glass of wine then help Graham Norton find a Nancy (snigger) then I'm off hitting London town again. =D

1) I was ill. Very ill...well not very but it was for me. Basically I had a throat infection, a very weird one which involved just one of my glands swelling up to monstorous proportions. This then caused the back of my mouth to hurt alot. This in turn made it near impossible for me to swallow without doing some version of the hippy hippy shake due to the pain. So I didn't eat anything for three days and had to force water down my throat. But! I've been given antibiotics which means I'm well on the road to recovery. I can eat and drink like a normal person now. Go me! Although I think if I get really ill in the house again and have to leave I should leave a less suicidal esque note which does not involve the sentence 'I couldn't take it anymore!'

2) Being ill has also benefited my costume for our big party on Saturday, because for one I can bring K-9 to Lancaster with me! I'm gonna be The Doctor with a companion =D. Plus with everyone being near everything in London, I was able to get a new sonic screwdriver on the way back from the hairdressers which leads to...

3) I had a haircut. It is short, a tad to short to do much with it but I'm gonna experiment around. Knowing me, I'll brush it a couple of ways, get bored and then keep it in the easiest style.

4) I'm starting to freak out about work. I have a presentation due in a couple of weeks which we've done nothing for and an essay due in three weeks which I haven't even started to research so whenever I think about it my face kinda spasms out of control.

5) I love London I really do, but I don't like it when you have a big gang of chavs just starting 'beef' near where I live. I watched it from my balcony, it was like being in the ye olde times when they made people fight for fun. I say we bring in like some sort of shock treatment and just sort them out. They desperately need to be. Do it so the girls hate the thought of babies and the boys never think of violence.

6) I haven't drank alcohol since Sunday! And I won't be for ages. A nice detox I think.

Every time I go in there, I'm on the look out for unsuspecting critters.

2) Peter Pan, the 2003 movie is actually amazing. It was on tonight and by the time it had ended I had cried at least twice. Once when Tink came back to life and then again when some kid didn't have a mummy for like 10 seconds.

3) I'm convinced that sometime soon I'm going to have a heart attack. I keep getting random stabbing pains in it. I think it could be a product of the wireless network in the house...or the fact that I like my food with fat.

4) I think my liver hates me. The amount I've drunk this week is astonishing, I actually scared myself. I won't list it here but it has got to stop soon.

5) Writing 'normal' pieces of creative writing is hard. I've gotten so used to putting in weird little twists that I cannot produce a simple story without wanting to add a bit of taboo into it.

6) My addiction for Doctor Who spoilers has reached its peak. Doctorwhoforum.com is the first website I go to when I sign on nowadays. I don't know why, the spoiler section is full of bitchy comments about continuity and the reliability of sources. Although Steven Moffat did come on to tell us to stop trying to spoil his episodes which was nice.

7) Will Mellor is going to be at my work this Wednesday. I hope I'm working that night because you know he is a bit of a dish.

8) I am ridiculously excited about our upcoming party. Mostly because I get to dress up as The Doctor. Also the fact that we have a record number of people coming. I'm not too sure how exactly we plan to fit them all into the house but I plan to be somewhat too drunk to care.
<strike>
</strike>It is now 02:53am and I cannot think of anything else to write. Might go to sleep now in an attempt to fix my sleeping pattern. It won't work though.

I must say, 2008 has been amazing so far. Okay it's only been five days but they've been cool. Saw the new year in at G-A-Y where Booty Luv were playing...so that would be the third time I've seen them in four months. It was a good night but I got so so drunk. Note to self: don't alternate between white wine and double vodka, it is never good. There was some old dude in a cravat who brought us drinks which was nice. But I paid for my drinking and dancing the next day where I like couldn't move for fear of throwing up.

Then the Thursday just gone, I met up with Jamie and Cathryn and we went for drinks then to G-A-Y late. That was an awesome night just dancing like there was no tomorrow and watching the creepy old men watch you. The night drew on and I got talking to some guy called Sean who invited me back to his, along with Jamie. That was a fucking interesting night culmulating in me and Jamie drinking pink champagne at 6am while watching Wheel of Fortune. I think I might take up drinking champagne next term with the money I won't be spending on getting taxi's everywhere. Well the next morning I woke up, thought fuck this and proceeded to get dressed and walk out the door. I get halfway down the road and realise I had left my passport so I turn around and Sean is standing in the doorway. Gah, embaressment much so I stay for a bit. But oh god, I thought Walthamstow was just outside zone one on the tube. No, it's the end of the fucking Victoria line. So I make my way home clutching my evian bottle like it's god's gift.

So yeah 2008 has been fun so far and I hope it stays like this. This should be a year of experiences and adventures.

New Year's Resolutions are to spend less money and do more work. Oh and drink less but we all know that will never happen.

I should be sleeping or packing or anything other than being awake at 2.30am watching Sex and the City. It's become a really bad habit to go to bed with some SATC. I find it soothes me, plus I can put it on sleep so I don't have to sleep in the dark. This weekend has been quite excellent actually. Friday was Sweeney's birthday which was ace, despite the fact that everyone ended up going home and I was leglessly drunk. Then yesterday I was just sitting at home and it got to 12.30am and I decided to go to Sugarhouse for drink the bar dry. One pound drinks will always be my weakness. It was a really ace night though and I ended up with the guy again which was surprising. I spent today just watching all my housemates go home and wondering if I had done the right thing with the guy. Oh well it's Christmas holidays now so I don't have to worry about it really. Should probably go to bed now, but I really don't like being alone in the house and it's making me stay awake.

<lj:music>It Was Her House That Killed Nessarose - Hannah Fury</lj:music>

The last couple of days have been so fucked up. On Tuesday was our mini house party which was quite cool. Managed to drink a bottle of vodka and dance to Paris Hilton which always constitutes a good night. Except for the whole waking up the next day with matching love bites on each side of my neck. Luckily it wasn't another 'Oliver' situation where I looked like I had been walking through Brixton spouting racial hatred. So that's all a bit weird.

Then I had work yesterday and I was so dazed and out of it. I was on spike so it wasn't too bad but still. Then they asked if anyone wanted to go home early so I said sure. But they said maybe and then next thing I knew a taxi was coming so I asked if I could jump in it and the manager said yeah but I hadn't gotten permission from the guy who was doing the taxis so I may have just left work early without letting anyone know. Fun fun.

But yeah mostly just all huh-ness about Tuesday and stuff about that.

    <lj:music>The Stowaway - Murray Gold</lj:music>

I should be revising for an in-class test but instead I'm listening to music, facebooking and typing this. Exciting stuff. In a much better mood than last entry. Went to Canal Street on Saturday which was pretty awesome. It was just one of those great nights where nothing really goes wrong and everyone has an amazing time. Well except for the guy who kept trying to get off with me. Seriously if you gonna attempt to get off with someone you don't just open your mouth and stand there. I swear the guy had no tongue either. Jesus. Oh well. I woke up yesterday hungover, ordered pizza and curled up with The Golden Girls all day. Fun stuff.

Okay this is the point where I'm gonna go a bit fansquealish. So yeah any doctor who fans who don't wanna be spoiled stop reading...now.

Rose! I cannot wait for her to come back. It is going to be so great. Episode 11 looks so great with Rose appearing in flashes of light and Donna getting run over. The Racnoss ship returning! Something on Donna's back? Where is the doctor!? Everyone evacuated from the south of the UK? Cannot wait! What I want to happen is for the big bad to get defeated and then the doctor and rose go off travelling until she dies and then he comes back and we can forget about her without him being emo every episode about her. But that isn't going to happen. Even RTD isn't that fanboyish. Weeee!

<lj:music>Girls That Glitter Love The Dark - Hannah Fury</lj:music>

Everything seems to be going really shit at the moment. It's like the last two years but a bit worse. Irregular sleeping pattern (due to work as well), physically and mentally tired, not wanting to do anything. Every goddamn winter. The fact my room is painted the same colour as prison walls isn't helping.

I'm looking forward to Christmas though. I love the excitement and the buildup. Should be fun. Then New Year. Haven't even decided what I'm doing for that.

Nothing to write about really, just thought I'd attempt an update. Failed miserably. I'm gonna go grab another diet coke and chocolate bar and see what happens.

    <lj:music>In This Life - Delta Goodrem</lj:music>

Haven't updated in a while because life has been a bit hectic. My job is going well but I'm not too sure about the hours still. I guess I'll just have to get used to it. We had a staff social on Monday which was really cool. We won the quiz partly because of my very gay knowledge of music/movies. I don't really remember getting home though which is quite worrying. I woke up drunk and had to go to a lecture. I was sat in the middle of a row in the middle of the theatre trying my best not to throw up. That was fun.

Uni in general is going okay and so is life. After my creative writing seminar earlier I decided to invite the class along with me, Rosie, Lewis and Leigh. Surprisingly a lot came along which was really cool. We're thinking of making it a weekly thing which should be cool. But yeah not really much to tell. I miss London as usual.

I'm starting to think I have the best job in the world. Despite having stumbled in at just before 6am, I'm really happy and quite drunk. When I got into work today I was told I was going to be on bar, something I've never done before or been shown how to do. So after a 15 minute crash training I was chucked into the fray. I have never bricked it so far in my life. The crowd never ended and I didn't know what certain drinks were or where they were. Luckily after about ten minutes Lou decided that my first night on bar shouldn't be on a Saturday, especially a Saturday where we broke the record of people in the club. I was allowed to go serve in the cloak room which I was more than happy with. Everything is nice and simple in the cloakroom and I don't feel like a massive spazz.

So I'm happily in the cloakroom, minding the coats when 'BZZZZZZZZZZ'. The fire alarm goes off. The fucking fire alarm goes off. So while I'm trying to save my own life I have people running up to me asking for me to find their coats. After shouting at them that they had to get out of the building I just turn and leave. Next thing I know Shell was telling me how people had climbed over the cloakroom and were invading my cloakroom. Thank god nothing was stolen. Now you're probably wondering why I still love this job and I'll get to that. Every Saturday after work we get free reign over the bar. Whatever we want to drink! So tonight after work I had one double vodka and diet coke, two Shagga's (two shots of sourz, a shot of vodka, topped up with lemonade) and a WKD. Plus all the people who work there are really friendly and helpful so it is just like on of the best places to work. I'm glad I got a job there.
